Giara of Gesturi: Archeology, environment

The Giara Highlands excursion is one of the most exciting excursions one can do in Sardinia.

We will look for the lovely Giara ponies while walking on a large part of the plateau and we will see the “Paulis”, the natural valleys that retain, even in summer, water for the ponies. In the evening, we will visit one of the largest and better-preserved nuraghi in Sardinia: the Nuraghe of Barumini.
