The excursion begins in the village of Paulilatino, where we can admire the most suggestive sacred well of Sardinia: the Well of Santa Cristina. We will then go to the village of Seneghe, where we will taste Mr. Cosseddu’s extra-virgin olive oil (voted number one in Italy).
After walking a short distance we will reach Monte Entu (about 750 meters above sea level) and among magnificent forests, we will reach the Nuraghe Ruiu. After the lunch break with typical products, we will walk a little more to get to the heart of Montiferru to look for the Sardinian deer and observe the Vulture Griffon in its natural environment. The artisans of Montiferru will show us their art; we will taste Casizzolu (typical cheese), Malvasia (alcoholic beverage), honey, homemade bread and sweets, and we will visit the craftsmen of knives, saddles, ceramics and fabrics.
In the evening we will also stop at the Museum of the Arts and Crafts of Santulussurgiu.
